Waterscapes

Water is one of my favorite subjects when painting outdoors. It moves, changes color and reflects light.

Benicia has been an inspirational place for painting water scenes. The flow of the river, the standing pools after our rainy season, the docked boats, old and new reflecting their masts and colorful equipment all add to the magic of the water scenes.

The water element makes Benicia a Painter’s paradise.
